Frequently asked questions

What is Virgin Hair?

Virgin Hair is hair that is completely unprocessed and in tact. To qualify as Virgin Hair it must meet righteous standards including: not been permed , dyed, colored, bleached, chemically processed in any way. This also means it comes from a single donor, and all the cuticles are intact, running in the same direction.

What is a Bundle?

A Bundle is 1 piece or 1 "pack of hair". Bundle is the term used when describing virgin hair because the hair is essentially bundled together once collected from the donor and sewn onto a weft. Each bundle weighs approximately 3.2-3.5oz.

Could you tell me more about Brazilian and Peruvian hair?

Brazilian hair is very popular among virgin hair options, excellent durability, low to medium luster. It is favored for the thickness, soft, easily blends with hair textures, contains body & natural shine.

Peruvian hair appears to be very thick but is very light and very soft. It is coarser than Brazilian and Malaysian hair. Peruvian hair can be installed with 4 bundles and still appear light. It can easily be maintained.

What is a closure?

A closure is a hair piece is designed with a silk or Swiss lace base to enhance the finished look of your weave. It will allow you to part your hair any way you choose with ease and confidence. It is commonly attached onto a cornrow base by sewing around the perimeter. You can also use wig clips to attach the piece in place. Our closures also have a lace front, for those who would like to use lace front adhesives.

Where do you ship?

We ship internationally.

Do you do custom color?

Custom color can be requested. It will delay your shipping time. Please note that once hair is dyed it is no longer considered virgin or unprocessed.

How is the hair length measured?

Our straight hair is measured in its natural state, whereas, the wavy or curly hair is measured when stretched. You may want to add 4-6 inches when ordering a curly or wavy texture. Keep in mind your size and frame when deciding on a length. An 18" weave will fall longer on a person 5'2" as opposed to a person 5' 11".

How much hair is needed for a weave?

The amount of hair required depends on the look you want. Here is a simplified guide:

  1. Full head sew in weave: Hair 10" to 16" long
  2. 4 ounces = A half head of extensions (to add body or length)
  3. 8 ounces = A full head of extensions
  4. 6 - 8 ounces = A full head of extensions with a closure piece or frontal piece.
  5. Full head sew in weave: Hair 18" to 24" long
  6. 8 ounces = A half head of extensions (to add body or length)
  7. 12 ounces = A full head of extensions
  8. 10 - 12 ounces A full head of extensions with a closure piece or frontal piece
